John Warren is a fully qualified and insured Sports, Remedial and Deep Tissue Massage Therapist and member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists.

He treats a variety of muscle conditions using an integrated approach combining Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Remedial Massage and Therapeutic Massage, all in one unique and highly effective treatment.

John has trained at the Barnes School of Sports Therapy in Bath and with The North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM) under the tutelage of renowned teacher and practitioner of Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release - Art Riggs.

John has treated a variety of clients both male and female of all ages and each with their own specific requirements. He has worked with the physiotherapists at both Bath City Football Club and Weston-Super-Mare Football Club.

As well as Integrating Deep Tissue with Sports, Remedial and Therapeutic massage, a treatment may also include techniques such as Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Neuro-muscular Technique (NMT), Soft Tissue Release (STR), Myofascial Release, ice massage & stretching.

Each session is tailored to your bodies needs, focusing on easing away aches and pains, releasing tension and increasing joint range and flexibility.

Why is Deep Tissue Massage Different?

The focus of a traditional massage is relaxation, working on the muscles closest to the surface of the skin, whilst deep tissue massage techniques targets specific problems, working on the deeper layers of muscle & connective tissue.  Strokes are slower and deeper with more focus on specific problem areas.  It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas.
